Each year a number of bouncy castles are stolen and then offered

for sale either personally or via auction sites such as Ebay.

It can be very tempting to buy bouncy castles ‘on the cheap’ but it

should be remembered that should you purchase such a unit and

it is then proven to be stolen you will have a lot of questions

to answer and the unit will be returned to its rightful owner.

This would leave you out of pocket and without your purchase.

There are a few safeguards that you should observe before purchasing

• Ensure that you have the name and address of seller
• Ask for a land line telephone number and check that it is current
• Arrange to pick up from the sellers address if possible
• Always ask for a receipt
• Ask for past test certificates and manufacturers operating instructions

If it looks too good to be true it probably is so be warned
